- Chicken bones a half-gallon bag at least (you can use the carcass of a rotisserie chicken, too)
- 4 Carrots snapped in half/ cut up
- 1 Onion cut in half or 4ths
- 3-5 Celery sticks cut in half
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Enough water to fill the Instant Pot max line
- 4 Cloves of garlic
- 1-2 Bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp salt - I use Real Salt or Celtic Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp whole pepper corns you can take or leave this step I like mine peppery
First, you are going to add your chicken bones to the Instant Pot, followed by the carrots, celery, onion, and garlic.
Now you are going to add your bay leaves, apple cider vinegar, pepper, and salt.
Then you are going to fill the Instant Pot with water to the max fill line.
Now, secure the lid, press start, and it should automatically go to the 'normal pressure cook' setting, which is 3 hours. It takes a bit of time to wram up, then cooks 3 hours then cools down and depressurizes.
When it is completely depressurized, it is safe to take the lid off, and you will see your golden magic broth, ready to use or store!!
I hope you enjoy this amazing bone broth and that it nourishes your body and loved ones!
Wait until it cools completely to freeze!
