Lifestyle & Fun coming to the Table
My life is changing rapidly, and with it, I want to welcome in new recipes, but I am also going to be bringing lifestyle blogs to this space. Healthy lifestyle things and life update things. With all that to stay, let’s move on to my links and where you can find me (more below).
I am now an Amazon affiliate, so I want to disclose that I do have links to products I use in case you guys are curious! Now here’s the part where I drop all my links to my socials for you. Appreciate you!

Why date balls?
I love date dalls and blending ingredients with dates because it makes it so much easier to get in healthy nutrients in one spot. For instance, with seed cycling, it can be challenging to think of how to ingest said seeds every day besides yogurt. Recipes like this make it easier!
Seed Cycling Friendly:
In this particular recipe, I used sesame seeds and sunflower seeds, which coincide with our lunar phase. But if you were in your Follicular phase, you could totally swap the seeds for pumpkin and flax seeds!
It is delicious either way and really helpful for your hormones.
Seed Cycling was a game-changer for me, and I saw huge benefits after adding it to my lifestyle.

Things you may need for this recipe:
Food Processor: You literally can’t make this recipe without one. This is the one I want: HERE IT IS. I don’t want to recommend the one I currently have because it’s not a good one and takes forever to process things.
Quality Cacao: Here is the one I buy and love. I also use it for hot chocolate and all other chocolate recipes.
Quality Dark Chocolate: Make sure you start reading the labels and find the best chocolate so you are actually fueling your body with the goods, even when it’s a dessert! (I linked the brand I use).
Parchment Paper: I personally use parchment paper daily, and using a quality one is super important to me. Many of them are bleached and have toxic chemicals in them. The one I used is natural and unbleached.

The recipe – Ingredients:
- 8-10 Medjool dates (I used organic)
- 2 Tbsp raw sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp raw sunflower seeds
- 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
- 1/3 Cup nut butter (I went with peanut butter)
- 2 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2ish Cup of dark chocolate chips (for melting)
Method:
- First, you are going to de-seed your dates and set them inside your food processor.
- Process the dates enough that they start to break apart.

- Add peanut butter and seeds. Blend and scrape sides; you may need to do this a decent number of times.
- Then you will add the cacao powder and blend until it’s like a sandy texture! (As pictured below). If there are little pieces of seeds, that’s OK!

- Take some of the mix into your clean hands and press/roll into balls. The first time I made this recipe, I made the balls a bit too big. The next time I made this, I made them bite-sized, and it made around 30 or so balls.

- Place your date balls on a parchment-lined dish and freeze for about 20 minutes. Long enough for them to get cold.
- When the date balls are about ready to come out of the freezer, it is a good time to start heating up your chocolate.

- Remove the balls from the freezer and dip them in the bowl of melted chocolate.
- Put the chocolate-covered date balls back onto the parchment paper and add some flaky salt on top!
- When all the date balls are covered in chocolate and placed on the parchment paper, put them back into the freezer for about an hour or so.

- When the date balls have chilled, they are ready to be enjoyed!! Keep them frozen in an air-tight container!
